About

Hi! I’m Emily Sue.

I’m an artist, educator, entrepreneur, and current graduate student of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, class of 2024. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Watkins College of Art & Design in 2011.

My passions are manifold: I’m obsessed with art, architecture, science, music, nature, plants, sustainability, ecosystems, and technology. I do my best work for others and with others. I believe creative collaboration, empathetic mentorship, and equitable knowledge-sharing are the keys to successful and meaningful design work.

I have over fifteen years of experience working as a professional visual artist.

As Creative Director of my own art production company, I have designed and produced large and small scale contemporary sculptural installations, murals, chalk art, community education events, 3d-printing projects, and set designs for theater, live music, television, and film.
